Couple united in Park of Roses

Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Burwick
Kristen Noel Arling married Charles Arthur Burwick in an afternoon ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007 at Whetstone Park of Roses in Columbus, Ohio. The Rev. Forrest Williams officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Tamara Fitz-Arling and Steven Arling of Clarks Summit, Pa. The groom is the son of Barbara and Michael Burwick of Williamsville.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a mermaid-style gown with halter top and chapel-length train made of beaded ivory lace and enhanced with sequins, crystal bugle beads and seed pearls. Her tiered veil was finished with a hand-beaded edge. She carried a bouquet of red, white and Estelle roses with orange Gerbera daises and green hydrangea.

The maids of honor were Karrah and Augusta Arling, sisters of the bride. The bridesmaid was Sarah Lombardo, friend of the bride.

The flower girl was Olivia Wakefield, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Joseph Burwick, brother of the groom. The ushers were Stephen Wilson and Ashok Srihari, friends of the groom.

The ring bearer was Billy Davis, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at The Germania in the German Village section of Columbus.

The couple are at home in Columbus. They plan to honeymoon in Cancun later this year.
