ICTC's "The School for Scandal" features Leah Russo as Lady Teazle and ICTC co-founder and artistic director Vincent O'Neill as Sir Peter Teazle. Scandalous The Irish Classical Theatre's production of Richard Brinsley Sheridan's delightful farce "The School for Scandal" continues through Oct. 14. Wealthy, middle-aged Sir Peter Teazle has recently married the young and beautiful Lady Teazle who delights in the daily rounds of fashion, young men and malicious gossip. Meanwhile, Lady Sneerwell desires Charles Surface who desires Maria, the ward of Sir Peter, while Lady Teazle rebuffs the seductive advances of Sir Oliver Surface. The wickedly funny and intriguing plot only thickens with an aptly named cast of tittle-tattle cliques, including Mr. Snake, Mrs. Candour and Sir Benjamin Backbite. "The School for Scandal," directed by ICTC Associate Director Derek Campbell, features Vincent O'Neil, Robert Rutland, Tim Klein, Neal Moeller, Casey Denton, Todd Benzin, Kurt Guba, Peter Palmisano, Joe Natale, Nathan Winklestein, Jeffrey Coyle, Leah Russo, Anne Roaldi, Josephine Hogan, Kelli Bocock-Natale, Mary Jayne Ertel and Rich Kraemer. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 3 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Andrews Theatre, 625 Main St., Buffalo. Tickets are $37-$42 general and $32-$35 seniors, and are available by calling 853-ICTC. Tickets for students under the age of 25 are $15 and are sold one hour before curtain, in person only.
