The Amherst Public Library Clearfield Branch, 770 Hopkins Road, Williamsville, will host "Fourteen Ways to Preserve Your Assets with the New Medicaid Laws" from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10. The seminar will include the following topics: powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills, trusts, annuities, long term care insurance, Medicaid, reverse mortgages, prepaid funeral accounts, caregiver agreements, life estates and gift-giving.
