      C. Clifford Preisigke II, acknowledged by his peers as the most prominent photographer of breaking news in Buffalo for more than three decades, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007. Mr. Preisigke, 77, of Amherst, worked for the old Courier Express for more than 32 years.

James P. Falzone, business owner
      James P. Falzone, 88, of Williamsville, died on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst. Born in Buffalo, Mr. Falzone served in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the USS Bennington aircraft carrier and was honorably discharged in 1945.
