RAISING AWARENESS - Ron Silverio, an Amherst resident and president of AIDS Community Services of WNY, speaks at the 14th annual Kelli McCarthy Memorial Aids Walk on Saturday at the Pepsi Center. Ms. McCarthy passed away in 1997 from complications caused by the disease. The event is held to raise money and awareness about the severity of AIDS and HIV.
