Pair marry, renew vows in same church

Starelyn J. and William F. Myregaard of New Port Richey, Fla., formerly of Williamsville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 29, 2007 by renewing their wedding vows at the Lakewood United Methodist Church.

Bill Myregaard, the couple's son and classical guitarist, played during the ceremony. A dinner reception for family and friends followed at Peek'n Peak Resort and Spa, Clymer, N.Y.

William F. Myregaard married the former Starelyn J. Lane on June 29, 1947 at the Lakewood United Methodist Church in Lakewood, N.Y.

William is retired from Chicago Pneumatic. Starelyn is retired from Brassel Commercial Real Estate. During the summer, while living in Ashville, N.Y., Bill works at Chautauqua Institution in the transportation department. He is also an active member of the 75th Infantry Division. Both are members of the First United Methodist Church of New Port Richey and the Lakewood Methodist Church.

The couple have five children, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
