Danny Weinstein and Jamie Burgess

Ken and Bobbi Burgess of Florida announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Burgess, to Danny Weinstein, son of Evie and Barry Weinstein of Amherst. Miss Burgess is also the daughter of the late Pam Clark.

Miss Burgess is a 1999 graduate of Williamsville East High School. She graduated from Boston University in 2005 with a master's degree in public health. She is research associate at the MayaTech Corp.

Her fiance graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1999. He graduated from Missouri State University in 2005 with a master's degree in defense and strategic studies. He works as a deterrence analyst with Science Applications International Corp. at U.S. Strategic Command in Omaha, Neb.

A June 2008 wedding is planned.
