Couple wed in Chicago

Mr. and Mrs. Steven Tryon

Elizabeth Gerich married Steven Tryon in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 at St. Vincent De Paul Church in Chicago. The Rev. Patrick Harrity officiated.

The bride is the daughter of James Gerich of Chicago and the late Patricia Gerich. The groom is the son of Kathy and Marv Tryon of Amherst.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a strapless gown with a chiffon veil and carried a bouquet of red roses.

The matron of honor was Cynthia Gerich, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Lisa Zuniga, cousin of the bride. The bridesmaids were Maria Zuniga, cousin of the bride, and Tiffany Armstrong, friend of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Rebecca Coakley, cousin of the bride.

The flower girl was Lexa Hayes, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Daniel Tryon, brother of the groom. The ushers were Jason Tryon, brother of the groom, and Michael Jakovac, Jeffrey Batt and Sean McNichols, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Marriott Hotel, Chicago.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
