Dialogue can help export challenges

This past month, I participated in a roundtable discussion with local manufacturers, representing the Amherst Chamber of Commerce and the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara. We were brought together by Rep. Tom Reynolds to discuss ways to increase export opportunities for Western New York manufacturers.

Along with the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara, we have created an "Export Ready" program to help companies develop their exporting opportunities. We need to ensure that our manufacturers realize their capabilities to compete on a national and international level.

Manufacturers face a unique set of challenges, and the congressman is not only cognizant of those challenges, but also he has created a dialogue whereby they can prioritize their needs and he can assist in providing the necessary resources to ensure their ongoing prosperity.
