Amherst alumni to present Tigerfest II

The Amherst Central Alumni Foundation will kick off homecoming week in the Amherst School District with Tigerfest II.

The event, featuring food and drinks, will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24 at Loughran's Club and Restaurant, 4543 Main St.

The Alumni Foundation encourages all district faculty and staff, parents, and community members to locate their favorite "orange and black" outfits and attend.

The co-chairs for the event are Marilyn Rohl ('70) and David Dengler ('74). A $20 donation will guarantee a spot at Loughran's for all of the festivities. Tickets are available by contacting the alumni office at alumni@amherst.k12.ny.us, 362-3047 or may be purchased at the door.

All proceeds from Tigerfest II will benefit the Alumni Foundation's grant program and also assist with the completion of the final phase of the high school courtyard/Stone Tigers project.
