PROMOTION

PROMOTION - Heidi Hyla was recently hired to oversee Amherst Skating Club's learn-to-skate program. Hyla, a graduate of the learn-to-skate program, has skated for 25 years, earned her United States Figure Skating Gold Freestyle and Dance medals as well as Canadian Figure Skating Association in dance. She was a regional competitor in freestyle and competed at the sectional level, earning five gold medals for synchronized skating. Hyla has been a learn-to-skate coach since 2002 and also instructs "Sweet Icings", ASC's synchronized skating team.
