MEILER, Earl J. of Williamsville, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007; husband of Margaret; father of Diane Janson of Williamsville and Karen Layfield of Orlando, Fla; brother of June Praetzel of Cheektowaga. Services were held Monday, Sept. 10 from (Tonawanda Chapel) Amigone Funeral Home. Mr. Meiler was a retired supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service and a decorated Army Air Corps veteran of World War II with 13 battle stars.
