Daisy Girl Scouts to hold recruitment

The Eggertsville Girl Scouts will hold their annual Daisy Girl Scout Teddy Bear Tea recruitment from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 4007 Main St., entry and parking in the back near Eggert Road.

Daisy Girl Scouts is open to girls attending kindergarten or who are at least 5 years old.

Adults interested in registering their daughters/granddaughters as well as any adult interested in volunteering as leaders are invited to attend.

The girls will participate in a Daisy Girls Scout meeting, which includes making a craft, learning about scouting, singing a song, playing a game and having tea and Girl Scout cookies.

Attending adults will participate in an informational meeting about Daisy scouting. Other volunteers will also be available to answer questions on leadership and membership.
