UB Women's Club begins 62nd year

The UB Women's Club will kick off its 62nd year with a luncheon featuring guest speaker Carolyn Zimmerman, who speak about "Drum4Health."

President Alice Russ will open the luncheon festivities at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Center For Tomorrow on the University at Buffalo's North Campus, at Flint and Service Center roads, Amherst.

The cost of the luncheon is $20. Reservations are required and will be accepted until Sept. 22. All are welcome to attend.

Members will have the opportunity to sign up for various activity groups.

The Women's Club is a service organization to UB and the surrounding community. Membership is open to all women who have a commitment to the goals of the university and the purposes of the Women's Club. Members have the opportunity to participate in several educational and charitable activities. The membership fee is $20 per year.
