College schedules are clinic for Sept. 21 The Buffalo State College Art Conservation Department, one of only three of its kind in the nation, will share its knowledge about the care and conservation of art and artifacts at a free clinic, Friday, Sept. 21 at Rockwell Hall 230. The public is invited to bring in an object for examination and consultation by Buffalo State experts about its care and conservation. If an art object or artifact is in need of conservation treatment that would be useful to the department's instructional program, it may be accepted for study or conservation work at a much lower rate than would usually be charged. Appointments are necessary and will be scheduled in the order that calls are received. Call Diana McNerney at 878-5025. Those attending will spend about 30 minutes with a faculty member in one of the department's three areas of study: paintings, paper or objects. |
