Dinner marks 55th anniversar

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Glowny

Mary and Robert Glowny of Cheektowaga celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a dinner attended by family and friends.

Robert Glowny married the former Mary Lesinski on Aug. 23, 1952 at St. John Kanty Church, Buffalo.

Robert is retired after 43 years as a millwright for General Mills. Mary is a homemaker.

They are members of Our Lady Help of Christians Seniors and General Mills retired employees club. Robert enjoys photography and woodworking.

The couple have three children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
