Sarah Kathleen Castner married Aaron Francis Piccirillo in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Cheektowaga. The Rev. Richard Jesionowski and Deacon Thaddeus Pijacki officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Rose Marie and Mark Castner of Cheektowaga. The groom is the son of Marsha and Alfonso Piccirillo Jr. of Niagara Falls.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She carried a bouquet of white roses, stephanotis, calla lilies, blue hydrangea and belladona delphinium, which featured blue Swarovski crystals and incorporated family heirlooms, including a Buffalo Fire Department pin that belonged to the bride's grandfather. The bouquet was designed by the groom's father.
The maid of honor was Lisa Drewniak, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jessica Castner, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jenai Tidwell and Kelly Hickman, friends of the bride.
The best man was Seth Piccirillo, brother of the groom. The ushers were Damian Kazeangin, cousin of the groom; Brian Castner, brother of the bride; and Joseph Leta, Adrian Turri and Damian Jones, friends of the groom. The junior groomsmen were Virgil, Martin and Samuel Castner, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held at Creekside Banquet and Picnic Grove, Cheektowaga.
The couple are honeymooning in the Finger Lakes.
