Pair travel to St. Lucia

Melissa Payne married Joshua Smith in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Lancaster. The Rev. Leon J. Biernat officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Doreen and Jeffrey Payne of Lancaster. The groom is the son of Katherine and Duane Smith of Lancaster.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore an ivory, strapless, satin gown with organza overlay and beaded bodice. She carried a bouquet of pink and off-white roses.

The matron of honor was Amy Martis, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Angela Wielkiewicz, Jennifer Rautenstrauch and Kristy Gossel, friends of the bride.

The best man was John Rautenstrauch, friend of the groom. The ushers were Scott Payne, brother of the bride, and Jason Ingraham and Robert Ridler, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Millennium Airport Hotel.

The couple spent their honeymoon in St. Lucia.
