Senior citizens foundation to host Bountiful Harvest'

The Amherst Senior Citizens Foundation invites the public to attend the second annual Bountiful Harvest Luncheon from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Amherst Center for Senior Services, 370 John James Audubon Parkway.

The cost is $10 if you buy your tickets before Sept. 21, and $12 after that.

The luncheon is being sponsored by Sheridan Surgical, Inc. and People Inc.

The event will feature a hot lunch of Beef Wellington, salad, and homemade desserts, along with hors d'oeuvres and desserts from some of the best restaurants in the area. Coffee is included.

The afternoon will also feature door prizes, a split club and a raffle for baskets.

Entertainment will be provided by the band "Exit." They will play Big Band favorites and music from the 40s, 50s, and 60s between 1:15 and 2:45 p.m.
