Fireman's widow thankful for support

To all the volunteer and paid firefighters throughout New York State who were touched by Bill's leadership, love of country, town and the fire service, many thanks.

A special note of appreciation of Mike Boehm, John Buttino and the Eggertsville Hose Company for arranging a service fit for royalty on such short notice, coordinating everything from standing guard at Komm Funeral Home to the final farewell video at the fire hall.

Kudos to Rabbi Shalman of Temple Shaarey Zedek and Gabe Ferber and his wife Andrea, my next door neighbors, for putting their lives on hold to help me at my most darkest hour.

With so much love and support, I have no choice but to go on with life as Bill would expect me to.
