Rick Harlock has been named care management operations administrator for Independent Health, located in Amherst. He will be responsible for supporting the care management team, and has more than 20 years of clinical and administrative leadership experience in the health care industry.
Robin Vail of Williamsville has been named development coordinator at Gilda's Club Western New York. She will lead the gift fundraising efforts and be responsible for the planning and implementation of donor relations efforts. She had been involved helping the organization develop its database and assisting with event coordination.
Kari Root Bonaro, formerly of Snyder, has joined the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus as director of communications and government affairs. She was interim director of communications for New York University's Child Study Center and was a partner in the Washington, D.C.-based firm Polidais.
Wendy A. Scott of Amherst was elected to the Pro Zoo Board of the Zoological Society of Buffalo Inc. The board supports the Buffalo Zoo. All funds raised by the board are used to assist the zoo in its efforts to educate, preserve and protect endangered species. She is an attorney with Kenney, Shelton, Liptak & Nowak LLP.
Bill Munson of East Amherst has been named to a three-year term on the YMCA Buffalo Niagara corporate board of directors. He is the vice president of public affairs for the Buffalo Bills. Munson is past member of the Executive Committee of Buffalo Bills Alumni, and the board of directors of the Buffalo Police Athletic League.
James R. Peterson of Amherst has been promoted to secretary of National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation. He is responsible for the legal matters of National Fuel and will continue to serve as general counsel, Supply Corporation, and assistant secretary, National Fuel Gas. He joined the company in 1989.
