Couple mark 50th year

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Thering

Gretchen and Otto Thering of East Amherst will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at a dinner at Falletta's Restaurant, East Amherst.

Otto Thering married the former Gretchen Muelhbauer on Sept. 7, 1957 at SS. Peter and Paul Church, Williamsville

Otto is a retired Texaco employee, and Gretchen is a retired postal carrier. They are members of St. Mary's Church, Swormville.

The couple have five children and eight grandchildren.
