Diane and Peter Tomasello of Cheektowaga announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Anne Tomasello, to Victor Joseph DeSimone, son of Carol and Joseph Casciano of Lancaster and Victor A. DeSimone of Buffalo.

Miss Tomasello graduated from Cheektowaga Central High School in 1996. She is an administrative assistant at Plaza Suites, Buffalo.

Her fiance graduated from Cheektowaga Central High School in 1996. He graduated from Buffalo State College in 2002. He works at National Fuel, Clarence.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
