Michael Petruniak and Nicole Hackbarth

Deborah and Timothy Hackbarth of Elma announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Hackbarth, to Michael Petruniak, son of Colleen and Mark Petruniak of Cheektowaga.

Miss Hackbarth is a 2003 graduate of Iroquois High School. She is a student at Buffalo State College, majoring in elementary education.

Her fiance is a 2001 graduate of Cheektowaga Central High School. He received a degree in management information from the University at Buffalo in 2005. He is a Web developer.

A May 2008 wedding is planned.
