Financial Women International will host its annual Installation of officers and networking event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the Millennium Airport Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga. The cost of the dinner is $25 per person, payable the day of the event, and a cash bar will be offered. Lancaster Chamber to host Lunch and Learn

The Lancaster Area Chamber of Commerce will host a three-part buffet special and information session from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26. The sessions, titled Lunch and Learn, will take place at the Lancaster Library, 5466 Broadway. The first sestopic is "The Interview." Attendees can learn some questions to ask to determine if a person will be right for their business. The cost is $10 per session in advance, $15 at the door and $20 per session for nonmembers. Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Buffalo is offering the free financial education course Credit When Credit is Due from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. The course will take place at the CCCS of Buffalo office at 40 Gardenville Parkway in West Seneca. The course teaches information people need to know about credit. It is for those who are just starting out and have no credit or those needing to rebuild credit. The course also offers solutions to credit problems experienced by participants.
