Cardinal O'Hara K of C Council installs officers

Officers of John Cardinal O'Hara Council No. 13661 Knights of Columbus were installed during recent ceremonies in Clarence.

They are: David Penn, financial secretary; Lou Huber, deputy of the 73rd NY District; the Rev. Thomas Doyle, chaplain; Anthony Gennaro, grand knight; and Anthony Russo, deputy grand knight.

Also, James Creed, lecturer; John Gatti of Williamsville, recorder; Michael Bienko, advocate; William O'Donnell, treasurer; Robert Shanahan and Craig Carpenter, trustees; Gregory Hartl, PGK trustee; Arthur Schmidle, warden; Charles Lukowski of Williamsville, inside guard; Rory Reichenberg, chancellor; and Mark Morgante, outside guard.

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic lay organization. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

Cardinal O'Hara Council serves the parishes of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Williamsville; Our Lady of Peace, Clarence; and St. Teresa of Avila, Akron. Its meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at Our Lady of Peace Parish Center.
