Collins qualifies for second ballot line in executive race

Chris Collins, Clarence businessman and Erie County executive candidate, will represent Taxpayers First on the general election ballot in November.

After a successful petition effort, Collins will appear on the newly formed Taxpayers First line. The petitions were formally filed with the Erie County Board of Elections on Aug. 21.

"The name of Taxpayers First represents what my campaign is all about," said Collins. "For too long, the taxpayers in this community have finished last."

The Collins campaign collected more than 3,300 petition signatures from registered voters to create Taxpayers First.
