Deadline to request 65-gallon tote is Sept. 1

The Office of Refuse Control for the Town of Amherst has set the deadline for tote requests as Saturday, Sept. 1.

Residents can request a replacement 65-gallon tote at the Town Clerk's Office, 5583 Main St., Williamsville.

The larger 95-gallon tote being replaced is to be placed at the curb on the scheduled pickup day.

The Refuse Office has a list of residents who have requested a smaller tote and will be delivering them as it is able.
