RECOGNITION - The bandstand at the Amherst Museum was dedicated to the Measer family last Thursday night during a summer concert by the Amherst Symphony Orchestra. Shown from left are Trey Measer, publisher; Michael Measer, circulation manager; and George J. Measer, retired publisher. The family has been publishing The Amherst Bee for 100 years. The newspaper was founded in 1879 by Adam Rinewalt.
