Travers Collins wins in all categories entered

Travers Collins & Company, owned by Bob Travers and Bill Collins, both of Williamsville, was honored for the fifth consecutive year by the League of Communications Professionals' Annual Report Competition, with all six of the firm's submitted entries taking home awards.

TC&C earned bronze awards for the reports produced for Hardinge, Community Bank System and First Niagara Financial Group and Honors Awards for the Home Properties, National Fuel Gas Co. and CTG reports. All six of TC&C's award-winning annual reports finished in the top 14-17 percent of the more than 2,500 entries received.

"The 2006 Vision Awards drew an unprecedented number of submissions representing a broad range of industries and organizational sizes," said Christine Kennedy, competition director, LACP.

This year's competition included 2,539 entries representing 21 countries, 23 percent of which came from Fortune 1,000 companies. Less than one in every five entries received an award.
