STATE RECOGNITION - Assemblyman Jim Hayes (R-Amherst) left, presents recently retired Police Chief John Moslow with a resolution adopted by the New York State Assembly in recognition of his many years of law enforcement service to the people of the Town of Amherst. Moslow served more than 32 years with the Amherst Police Department, eight were as chief. He also served numerous leadership positions, including the state level. Following his retirement, Moslow was named Chief of the courts in the eight counties of the 8th Judicial District of New York.
