Disney World trip marks 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Szczerbiak

Patricia and Richard Szczerbiak of Cheektowaga celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Walt Disney World.

Richard Szczerbiak married the former Patricia Storm on Aug. 31, 1957 at Queen of Martyrs Church, Buffalo.

Richard is a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

Patricia is retired from Maryvale Schools in Cheektowaga, where she worked as a secretary.

The couple are members of St. Barnabas Church. They enjoy traveling and also serve as volunteers at Hospice.

They have three children and four grandchildren.
