Pair, family mark 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. James Vriesen

Myrna and James Vriesen of Lancaster celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a small family gathering.

James Vriesen married the former Myrna Mohart on Aug. 24, 1957 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Silver Creek.

James is retired from New York State Electric and Gas. Myrna is a homemaker.

They enjoy collecting and restoring vintage farm and construction equipment.

The couple have four children and four grandchildren.
