Christopher D. Vitaris and Erika L. Watson

Susan and Ron Humphreys of Midland, Texas and Tom Watson of Lake Tahoe, Nev., announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Lyn Watson, to Christopher Douglas Vitaris, son of the late Beverly Vitaris and grandson of Joyce Rodgers of West Seneca and the late John Rodgers.

Miss Watson is a graduate of Arizona State University. She works in sales and convention services at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Her fiance is a graduate of West Seneca East High School and Erie Community College. He is employed as a detective with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department in Arizona.

An October 2007 wedding is planned.
