Marissa N. Robertson and Daniel A. Rock

Judy and William Robertson of Tonawanda announce the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Nicole Robertson, to Daniel Aaron Rock, son of Rita Hester of McKean, Pa., and Gary Rock of Edinboro, Pa.

Miss Robertson graduated from Kenmore West High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science degree in applied and computational mathematics from Johns Hopkins University. She is a mathematician for the federal government.

Her fiance graduated from General McLane High School in Edinboro. He received a Bachelor of Science in computer and electrical engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He is an engineer for the federal government.

A May 2008 wedding is planned.
