Candace Carbone married Rich Colasante on Friday, July 20, 2007 at Holy Name Cathedral, Chicago, Ill. The Rev. John Cusick and Deacon Stan Strom officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sadie and Franklin Carbone of Lake Worth, Fla. The groom is the son of Barbara Potenza of Gahanna, Ohio.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a Pronovias Couture gown featuring a side sweep beginning at the hip and flaring out to a cathedral train. Her double veil was topped by a tiara. She carried a bouquet of classic red roses.
The matron of honor was Marlo Carbone Dykstra, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Donna Martinez, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Christa Colasante, sister of the groom, and Stacie Springer, Debra Hankinson and Leeann Hollington, friends of the bride.
The flower girls were Brionna Carbone, niece of the bride, and Gianna Rappa, cousin of the groom.
The best men were Steve Katz and Rich Eckels, friends of the groom. The groomsmen were Eric Steller, Jim Bianchi, Ben Ghiloni and John Acklin, friends of the groom. The ushers were Peter and Frank Carbone, brothers of the bride, and Dave Lucchino and John D'elia, friends of the groom.
The ring bearer was Braden Evans, cousin of the groom.
A reception was held at the Drake Hotel, Chicago.
The couple honeymooned on four islands in Hawaii.
