Bride escorted by parents in afternoon ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. James E. Oakes III
Kimberly Reger married James E. Oakes III in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at St. John the Evangelist Church, Buffalo. The Rev. Robert M. Mock officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ursula Reger of Blasdell and Edward Reger of Jamestown. The groom is the son of Judith and James Oakes II of Fredonia.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

She wore a strapless gown and carried a bouquet of pink calla lilies.

The matron of honor was Catherine Sobotka, cousin of the bride. The maid of honor was Stephanie Schaper, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Esther Pelletier, cousin of the bride, and Heather Cyna and Kelly Garvey, friends of the bride.

Isabella Calanni, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.

The best man was Matthew Pierce, friend of the groom. The ushers were Jason, Andrew, Derek and Paul Sutter, cousins of the bride. The groomsmen were Peter Keefe, cousin of the groom; Eric Reger, brother of the bride; and Jamie Giambrone and Tim Weaver, friends of the groom. The junior groomsman was Brenden Maslak, nephew of the groom.

The ring bearer was A.J. St. George, nephew of the groom. A reception was held at the Ramada, Amherst. The couple spent their honeymoon in Tulum, Mexico.
