Rachel Borchard and James R. Otis

Peg and David A. Borchard of Yardley, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Borchard, to James R. Otis, son of Celestine and Edward R. Otis of Lancaster.

Miss Borchard graduated from Williamsville South High School in 1999. She received a bachelor's degree in history from St. John Fisher College in 2003 and a master's degree in library science from the University at Buffalo in 2007. She is a teller for Key- Bank.

Her fiance graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon High School in 1999. He received a degree in marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003. He is a salesman for E.D. Farrell Co. Inc.

An August 2008 wedding is planned at St. Gregory the Great Church, Williamsville.
