Nuptials held in St. Gabriel's

Elizabeth Jayne Snyder married Kevin Louis Holmquist in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007 at St. Gabriel's Church, Elma. The Rev. Dan Palys officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Christine and Robert Snyder of Cheektowaga. The groom is the son of Carolyn Holmquist of Ontario and the late Maynard Holmquist.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory mermaid style gown with a re-embroidered bodice, a tulle, cathedral length train and a fingertip length veil. She carried a bouquet of roses.

The maid of honor was Amy Snyder, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Strattan and Ann Myers, friends of the bride and groom.

The best man was Paul Reid, friend of the bride and groom. The ushers were David Morris, uncle of the groom, and Dr. Ronald Black, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Kloc's Blossom Grove in West Seneca.

The couple will be at home in Glendale, Calif., after honeymooning in Oahu, Hawaii.
