Belinson funeral service well planned by firemen

From the beginning of the service at the synagogue to the slide show in the fire hall, the funeral ritual was a tribute to a wonderful man and a dedicated volunteer fireman, Bill Belinson.

But it also was a tribute to the leadership and a highly respected volunteer fire company, the Eggertsville Hose Co. Rich in history, the company added another chapter of leadership with the tremendous and thoughtful planning and execution of that sad day. The funeral committee set an example of organization and action that many should follow.

The Eggertsville Hose Company proved again why it is so highly respected in the volunteer fire circles.

Bill Belinson will be missed by all of us but especially by the members of his fire company. I know that he would be very pleased with that day of remembrance.
