The Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting its annual Labor Day Fair from Saturday, Sept. 1 to Monday, Sept. 3 at 9415 Clarence Center Road, Clarence Center.

This is one of the area's oldest, continuing festivals of its kind. The Gala Parade will be held Monday beginning at 1 p.m. through Clarence Center. The event features Hammerl Amusements rides and games. Family entertainment, unique displays and exhibits, and music and cold drinks will be available.

Barbecued chicken will be served with other varieties of fair foods, including hot dogs, hamburgers, roast beef, Italian sausage, ice cream and clams. Fireman's Chowder will be served up starting at 9 a.m. Monday.

There will also be a bike giveaway at 4 p.m. each day, compliments of Labatts and Hammerl Amusements, and a 50/50 raffle each night.

Ride specials for Hammerl amusements will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Labatt Blue Party Tent will be rocking with live music from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday with The JC Thompson Band, and Sunday with Hit 'N' Run.
