Tickets are $30 and $35 and are available by calling 852-5000 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com. • ENTERTAINMENT - The Truth in Music Advertising Law has been signed into law by Gov. Eliot Spitzer. The new law specifically amends the Arts and Cultural Affairs Law by authorizing the attorney general to protect the rights of original artists and prohibits those who copy their style and performances through false representation such as invoking similar names, billings and promotion of the original artists by another performer. The bill also provides for civil penalties ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 for violations of the law. The law was inspired when well-known recording artists such as the Platters, the Coasters and the Drifters suffered significant financial losses when their acts and routines were copied without permission or authorization, and patrons were misled by false and deceptive adver tisements. • EXH IBIT - The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society has unveiled its first online-only exhibit and virtual tour to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Buffalo. The exhibit on the Historical Society's homepage at www.bechs.org uses documents from 1832 and the surrounding years to tell the story of Buffalo's transition from a village to a city. • HALLOWEEN - The North Tonawanda History Museum's 2007 Haunted Gardens on the EEEErie Canal will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturdays, Oct. 13, 20 and 27 at the North Tonawanda Botanical Gardens, 1825 Sweeney St., North Tonawanda.
