Back to school program changes at Williamsville

Just for Kids, has leased space in the Williamsville Central School District to operate before and after school programming beginning September 2007.

Prior the programs had been run by the YWCA. That program has moved to Temple Beth Am, 4660 Sheridan Drive.

The Synergy Group, a private consulting and management firm and parent company of Just for Kids, has been running programs for children for more than 15 years: Just for Kids Summer Club, day camps, and initiatives for the Western New York Family Care Consortium and nationally accredited early childhood centers in WNY.

The program has been designed by a team of educators and will be directed by a school psychologist. A variety of activities and choices to designed to enrich and support children's learning have been planned, with the goal of developing new skills and talents and promoting a positive change in behavior, while improving reading and problem solving ability.

Children can give back to the community with the 'KIDS Care' program. Children will also be given the opportunity to earn 'KIDS Cash' for homework and reading effort and spend it at the 'KIDS College,' which includes activities or classes like yoga, Irish dance, or juggling.
