ONE LAST TITLE - The New Era Diamond Girls Black 12U team finished its travel softball season by going 6-0 to win the championship in the recently-held Clarence Softball Tournament. It was the team's fourth tournament title of the season and capped a summer that saw the girls also place third in three other tournaments, as well as win the Niagara Frontier Girls Softball Association 12U Gold Playoffs. Another recent tournament, the Ohio Jamboree Tournament, ended with New Era 5-0 going into the semifinals before it was washed out by rain.
