Sisterhood Wellness Center hosts retreat

The Sisterhood Wellness Center is now accepting applications for a retreat or getaway for breast cancer survivors.

Other cancer survivors are also welcome to attend the retreat, to be held at the Holiday Inn on Whitehaven Road, Grand Island, Oct. 5-7. This is the 12th retreat that the Sisterhood has provided.

Participants will be staying in a two-person room. There will be various programs, such as healing touch, meditation, exercise, crafts, painting, massages and more.

The three-day, two-night retreat includes room, meals and all the guest facilities at the hotel. The board members of the Sisterhood promise a memorable, healing experience.

The fee for the retreat is set according to a sliding scale. No one will be turned away due to lack of money.
