Pair mark 50 years with dinner party, picnic

Patricia and Henry Stapleton of Depew celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family at a dinner party at Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant, Blasdell, on Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 and with neighborhood friends at a picnic on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2007.

Henry Stapleton married the former Patricia Eckel on Aug. 3, 1957 in Buffalo.

Henry is a retired salesman for Sears, Roebuck and Co. Patricia is a housewife.

They enjoy crafts, reading and billiards.

The couple have three children and four grandchildren.
