Couple honeymoon on Mayan Riviera

Karen Anderson married Jeffrey Schieber in a noon ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007 at St. John Vianney Church, Orchard Park. Monsignor William Gallagher officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Rosemarie and Robert Anderson of West Seneca. The groom is the son of Sandra and John Schieber of West Seneca.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white, silk taffeta gown that featured intricate beading and a three-tiered veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses with pearls.

The maid of honor was Sara Henderson, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kristen and Melanie Benes, cousins of the bride; Jill Eckert, sister of the groom; and Brenda Henderson, Christina Young, Christine Corgel and Jamie Pisa, friends of the bride.

The flower girls were Gabrielle Schieber, niece of the groom, and Kennedy Gallagher, friend of the bride.

The best man was Chad Locher, friend of the groom. The ushers were Eric Hahn, cousin of the groom; Jeffrey and Michael Anderson, brothers of the bride; and Kevin Smith, Kevin Thompson and David Iwankow, friends of the groom.

The ring bearer was Phoenix Lasker, cousin of the bride. A reception was held at Samuel's Grande Manor. The couple is honeymooning on the Mayan Riviera, Mexico.
