Lost in a corn field
Eight acres of corn fields will steal your sense of direction when the Buffalo Bandits-themed The MAiZE gets you lost beginning Friday, Aug. 24 through Oct. 31.
The Garland family has brought the MAiZE craze back to the area for another fun-filled season for its seventh season. The Garland's continue to promote WNY and family entertainment with the Buffalo Bandits design.
The MAiZE will challenge the wits of those seeking to find the one and only exit from the puzzle, offering a unique source of good farming fun for adults and children alike.
Though the correct pathway can be walked in under 30 minutes, most wandering maze-goers will require about one hour to travel through the more than two miles of twists, turns and decision points.
Attractions include the Mrs. Potts Bakery, Animal Adventure Area, Dueling Corn Cannons, The Korntucky Derby Raceway, Sticky Stampede Obstacle Course, and Farmer for a Day Tractor Path. Three 2007 mazes include The Passport Maze, The Storybook Maze and the Finger Fortune Maze.
The MAiZE is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with flashlight nights until 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays at 3901 Niagara Falls Blvd., Wheatfield. For more information, visit www.CornField Maze.com or call 433-5505.
