Hilbert College to host athletics open house

Hilbert College will hold an open house at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29 in Franciscan Hall. Area high school students and college transfers are invited to register online at visit. hilbert.edu.

Presentations by the Hilbert College admissions department followed by the athletic department, and a campus tour will highlight the morning. Students will have the opportunity to meet with coaches from the Hawks 11 collegiate athletic programs and can enjoy a free cookout from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Three of Hilbert's fall athletic teams will be in action starting with a women's volleyball match at 11 a.m. against Frostburg State. The women's soccer team will kickoff against the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg at 1 p.m. with the men's game against the Bobcats to follow at 3 p.m.
