Amber Hahn and Loren Baker II

Debby and Donald Hahn of East Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Hahn, to Loren Baker II, son of Mary Frances Baker of Horseheads, N.Y., and the late Loren Baker I.

Miss Hahn graduated from Clarence High School in 1998. She received a degree in elementary education from Fredonia State College in 2003 and a master's degree in literacy from the University at Buffalo in 2005. She is a sixth-grade teacher at East Aurora Middle School.

Her fiance graduated from Horseheads High School in 1995. He received a degree in computer science and business from Fredonia State College. He is an application developer at Emdeon Business Services in Williamsville.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
